- The ODA provides information on cottage food production operations, such as what foods are permitted to be manufactured for sale or distribution by a cottage food production operation, and where cottage food production operations may sell their food products, all according to Chapter 3715 of the Ohio Revised Code. External resources on Cottage Food Production and the Pure Food and Drug Law according to Ohio Laws & Administrative Rules are also provided.

The ODA provides useful information on all you need to know about home bakeries, from what foods are permitted to be manufactured for sale or distribution by a Home Bakery, to requirements for the labeling of Home Bakery products. The Division of Food Safety at ODA offers basic guidelines on the bakery items permitted to be produced in a licensed home kitchen and offered for sale.
